Street Justice

My name is John. I'm 30yrs. old and have a passion for investing (stocks and currencey). Although I have only been acctually trading for a few months, I have followed the market since I was a young boy. Even now when money is tough, I maintain practice accounts for both stocks and forex trading. I also absorb any and all data available. don't get me wrong I'm no tech. analyst but it has become a passion for me and I belive it is my calling. I've decided to start a blog to help other amature or potential stock market or currencey traders. This is my first blog so they can only get better and I have my ear very close to the tracks when it comes to the U.S stock markets and currencey trading, so hopefully I can help out or get some help from investors at my level. Sometimes I'll drop some stock names or sectors and sometimes Ill go over stratagies that are working for me. When dealing with forex(currencey trading) I'll give any info I get on which pairs are going where. My info comes from sources anyone can access and I'll even reveal those as I go. One example of a web-site I like alot is Zacks.com. They have many tools to use and the pay versions are worth every penny. Keeping in mind I'm no genius replies on advice I've given would be great and advice would be even better. As I get better at this blo thing I'll try to get orginized with every thing like a bi-weekly report or something, but for now I'm just gonna go over a couple stock names for next week. One company I have been watching for a while is STLD(Steel Dynamics). The price of steel continues to rise and besides X(US Steel), Steel Dynamics is the biggest dog out there. The thing that seperates STLD from X is it's price to value ratio. According to several programs I use STLD is severely undervalued and will continue to rise even in a poor U.S economy. Another favorite of mine is HK(Petrohawk Energy). I know, I know it's a nat gas-oil company that'll burst with the bubble, right..WRONG, even if the price of oil stabilizes natgas will go up and if oil keeps going up natgas and HK will too. HK has made me a 15% return over the last 3-4 weeks. I just sold some to collect profits(very important to my strategy). Oh, almost forgot. AWEC(Ameriwest Energy) is a $.67(sixty seven cents)stock that I'm taking a chance on with many analysts seeing it go to $2.50. As for Forex trading, I hate to say it but long-term(the next month or two) I'm short the USD until the fed can get a backbone. I'm def. short the USD for the next week leading up to the feds meeting, at which I don't expect them to rasie rates. Well, that's it for my first blog I'll be back Friday for an update and some more info.
