Street Justice: Good Enough For Me.

Hey all, how's it goin? I'm gettin ready for next week. I have high hopes(expectations) after last week. Still, these are volatile times and anything can happen. The only way to survive is to keep up on our homework. I've got 3 companies for you today I did some homework on and maybe you should too.
DVA/Davita Inc. is first up. They provide full dialysis and related services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure. They operate 1,359 outpatient dialysis centers in 43 states across the US as well as dialysis centers in 700 hospitals nationwide. The relative value, timing and safety for DVA are all great and they have an 8% forecasted earnings growth rate. EPS for DVA are up 13% over last quarter and they have a P/E ratio of 16.31. Sales were up7% over the last year and 5% over last quarter with net income increasing 31% for the year and 9% for the quarter. Davita has a ROE of 21% and a 6.6% net margin. They have climbed(price) 11% over the past 52 weeks and 13% over the past 4 weeks. Next under the spotlight is SNDA/Shanda Interactive. SNDA develops and operates online video games and related businesses is China. Their games include role playing games and classic games like checkers and chess. They also provide access to literature, music, movies, news and e-commerce. The only relative number worthy of mention for SNDA is the relative value at 1.45 of 2.00. They have a P/E ratio of 11.26 and a ROE of 34% with a 45% net margin. EPS are up 3% for SNDA over last quarter. Sales are up 13% over last quarter and 59% over last year with net income up 2% over last quarter and 182% over last year. SNDA is up(price) 13% over 52 weeks and 12% over 1 month. Today's final company is one of the few oil and nat gas companies still good to get in on. OXY/Occidental Petroleum drills for and sells (crude)oil and nat gas. They have operations in several states in the US including Texas, California and Oklahoma with international wells in such countries as United Arab Emirates, Columbia, Yemen, Russia, Pakistan and Ecuador. The relative value and safety for OXY are among the highest I've seen, but the relative timing is not so hot. OXY has a 30% forecasted earnings growth rate and get this, a P/E ratio of 7.63! They have a ROE of 29% and a 29% net margin. EPS for OXY are up 27% over last quarter and they have a very high growth to P/E ratio of 3.93(1.00 or greater signifies the stock is undervalued). Sales for OXY were up 18% over last quarter and 6% over the last year with the net income jumping 24% for the quarter and 29% over the last year. OXY has gone up(price) 43% over the past 52 weeks and 1% over the last month. They pay a $1.28(1.69%) per share dividend with an 18% dividend growth rate.
Well, I don't think we could've expected much more than we got from the market last week. Based on what I've seen I think these positive trends(USD, oil, DOW) will continue through next week, though maybe not to the same extent. In other words the healing has begun.
The USD has made a serious comeback against most of it's major crosses as of late. Do you think this will continue? Is the dollar done rallying? Let me know.
It's a lot of fun making money trading Forex, but it's even more fun when I can do it betting on the dollar. That being said, I think next week is gonna be another fun one. I don't see any major hurdles for the dollar next week.
I don't have to work till late tomorrow so I may pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for next week. Either way I'll be back before open on Monday, cause we're all in this together. Thanks for reading.
